The British & Irish Lions Tour in South Africa begins on July 3, although there will be a pre-round match against Japan at Murrayfield on June 26 before the team’s departure.
The tour – which was threatened due to Covid-19 but will go ahead as planned – has been shortened from 10 games to eight, with Lions playing alongside Super Rugby, Lions, Sharks, Bulls and Stormers ahead of the series Test.
The tour has been reduced to eight games, but there will also be a pre-tour game against Japan at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on June 26.
Ahead of the Test Series, the Lions will face the Emirates Lions, Cell C Sharks, Vodacom Bulls, South Africa ‘A’ and DHL Stormers.
The first Test against South Africa takes place on July 3, against the Lions, with the final Test on August 7.
While Sky Sports has the exclusive live streaming rights, live coverage of the Lions Tour will also be shown on terrestrial television.

For the first time in nearly 30 years, Channel 4 will broadcast the pre-round match against Japan and broadcast highlights from the three test matches against South Africa. Highlights from all Lions Tour matches will also be available through its video-on-demand service, All4.
Talksport radio will also provide live commentary on the nine matches, with World Cup winners Bryan Habana (South Africa) and Ben Kay (England), former Irish and Lions winger Tommy Bowe and former rugby player and Lions coach Sir Ian McGeechan weighing in on every game.
